One year on

It's been one year today since I started this blog. (You can read my first post here).

The past year has been quite a significant one for me - not least, having got married last June! I'm really glad to have had people who've been able to share some of the experiences I've had, and also to have helped me as I've dived into Scripture. Thanks all.

• A celebration of UCCF's fantastic graduate discipleship scheme, Relay;

Oh no not another blog!

It's with some reluctance that I make this first post. For some time I had considered that I would not be joining blogdom. I've thought for some time that I am not really wise enough to make comments that will be particularly helpful for others.

However, in recent days I have realised that as a form of public accountability such an exercise might be helpful. As someone involved in full-time Christian ministry, I am reminded to 'watch my life and my doctrine carefully' (Acts 20:28). If, through expressing some of my thoughts, others can help me to do such a thing, I will be grateful. If somehow by grace my considerations as a Christian walking with my Lord are helpful, then all the better.
